Gnowangerup, is a town located 61 kilometres south-east of Katanning in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The surrounding areas produce wheat and other cereal crops. Gnowangerup is a receival site for Cooperative Bulk Handling. Gnowangerup is a suburb of South Western, Western Australia and is about 298 kms southeast of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Gnowangerup was 599 when there were 299 Females and 300 Males living there.
